And then I started reading the booklet and learned that the glitter also has blotches of red sequins in the shape of hearts. Really?! And I didn’t even notice them! :) Here is where the fun began! To catch these hearts was just half of the challenge; but to place them on the nail in the right places and in the right amount and in the right position – that was problem of the problems!
I tinkered about 20 minutes with one hand, I brought a couple of simple rules placing these hearts – 1) one or two hearts on the nail is enough, 2) if there are two, the hearts are better placed in different directions. After that, I decided to leave my second hand alone :) Maybe next time :)
The glitter is really interesting though. Its minus is only one – it is too bright, and the “theme” makes it an unlikely choice to wear every day, but that is what makes it so interesting :)
А слона-то я и не заметила… Первое, что бросилось в глаза это насыщенный красный цвет глиттера с белоснжными матовыми гексагончиками (шестиугольниками). Я его тут же стала наносить поверх моего алого OPI. Нанесла. Никакого впечатления…
И тут начинаю читать буклет и понимаю, что в глиттере еще есть вкрапления алых блесток в форме сердечек. А я их даже не заметила! :) Вот тут-то и началось самое интересное! Выловить эти сердечки это пол-дела, а вот разместить их на ногте в нужных местах и нужном количестве – вот эта задача из задач!
Повозившись минут 20 с одной рукой, я вывела парочку нехитрых правил размещения этих сердечек – 1) одно-два сердечка на ногте достаточно, 2) если их два, то сердечки лучше размещать разнонаправлено. После этого, вторую руку я решила оставить в покое :)
Блеск на самом деле интересный, его минус только в одном – он слишком яркий и “тематический”, чтобы носить его каждый день, но этим же он и интересен :)
Bio-Cleansing Conditioner, Unwash
This is something very unusual for me… Bio-Cleansing Conditioner which works as a shampoo – but not exactly. The main idea (and a great idea!) behind this cleansing conditioner is to clean the hair without washing out all good stuff that our hair already has such as natural oil, moisture, color. So instead of using the shampoo first to wash out everything and then using a conditioner to take put back all the good stuff, we can just use Bio-Cleansing Conditioner! How simple is that :)
At first I was very suspicious… I felt like I was spreading some liquid cream on my hair – no foam, or anything like that. After I washed out this Bio-Cleansing Conditioner, I expected my hair to look like it hadn’t been washed for a few days… But it actually looked great – clean, shiny, moisturized and smelling good. What a surprise! :)
But to use this cleanser on a regular basis, you really have to be used to washing your hair without foaming shampoo – it’s pretty big deal for me. I used probably half a tube for my head because I just felt that it was not enough product on my hair to clean it. So it’s a great idea that really needs a bit of time to be adopted :)
Но поначалу я отнеслась к этому кондиционеру очень подозрительно. Когда я наносила этот кондиционер на мои волосы, по ощущениям это напоминало размазывание жидкого крема по волосам – не было ни пены, ни белого цвета, который бы сигнализировал, что на моих волосах вообще что-то есть. После того как я все смыла с моих волос, я ожидала увидеть, что мои волосы будут выглядеть как-будто я забыла о дУше на несколько дней… Но на деле все оказалось гораздо лучше – волосы выглядели чистыми, сияющими и чудесно пахли. Вот это неожиданность! :)
Но, чтобы пользоваться этим очищающим кондиционером каждый день, нужно привыкнуть мыть волосы совсем без пены – мне это пока сложно представить. У меня получается очень большой расход кондиционера – я потратила почти пол-тюбика за один раз, потому что мне постоянно казалось, что кондиционера мне недостаточно. Так что мне кажется, это прекрасная идея, но ей однозначно нужно время, чтобы к ней привыкнуть.
Exfoliating Bar, Teadora
Compared to the other stuff that I got, my first impression about this bar was “Why isn’t it pink or red?”. Everything in the box was so well matched that I was a little disappointed that this soap bar was pumpkin-brown, not pink :) In any case, I got a bar of soap from the Rainforest At Dawn set, so I guess the dawn in a rainforest looks different :))
These guys did an amazing job I can tell you… It was the very first time in my life when I read… the soap bar box as a book – becoming completely lost in its text! Just listen: “Listen to the rain on the canopy of leaves overhead. Hear the calls of colorful birds. Smell the lush, exotic flowers. Feel the dark, fertile soil under your toes…” and so on. It’s just incredible how our brain works (or how the right marketing can make it work!) – now it’s not just a soap bar for me, it’s a piece of a beautiful, fresh, alive rainforest in my hand! :) By the way, the soap smells very nice and has a rough surface, so it can be used also as a scrub. In addition, the soap contains sitaminy A and C, as well as antioxidants. Yeah, don’t sell product, sell the idea, the dream… Anyway :)
The soap has tiny particles that work as a scrub. The smell is really good – it’s a mix of bergamot, lemon, basil and eucalyptus and something else – I just love it.
На самом деле ребята проделали огромную работу в части разработки идеи продукта. Я впервые читала текс на упаковке с мылом (!) как книгу (!!) и перед глазами вставали картины жизни тропического леса (!!!): накрапывающий дождь, пение птиц, запахи экзотических цветов, невероятной красоты… Это просто удивительно, как работает наш мозг (и как хороший маркетинг может работать!) – это “просто мыло” перестало быть “просто мылом” – теперь это частичка невероятно красивого, свежего, живого тропического леса у меня в руках. Кстати, мыло очень приятно пахнет и имеет шершавую поверхность, так что им можно пользоваться как скрабом. Кроме того, мыло содержит ситамины А и С, а так же антиоксиданты. Да, не продавай продукт – продавай идею, мечту…
Foaming Shower Gel, Ritual Cosmetics
The aroma is very pleasant. I cannot call it super-refined, but it’s really nice. The gel is easily washed off, leaving on the body only a light fresh scent. I’ll definitely put it on my shelf in the bathroom, and I am going to use it. By the way, the volume of the bottle which I got is 6.7 fl.oz (200ml) – it’s a full-featured product, not a sampler! Very nice! :)
Очень приятное открытие – гель-пенка для душа от Ritual Cosmetics с маслом миндаля и индийской розы. Ингридиенты призваны расслабить и увлажнить кожу. По консистенции эта пенка сначала выглядит как прозрачный гель, который почти мгновенно трансформируется в густую ароматную пену, которая еще немного пениться при соприкосновении с водой.
Аромат очень приятный. Не могу назвать его супер изысканным, но он приятный. Смывается пенка легко, оставляя на теле только легкий свежий запах. Однозначно ставлю его в ванную и буду пользоваться, тем более объем флакона, который мне прислали, 200мл – это полноценный продукт, а не пробник! Очень приятно! :)
Tinties Lip Butter, Riyal Apothic
You already know my passion for nice boxes and packages. So i fell in love immediately with this product :) I wasn’t even scared of the fact that this balm (or butter, to be exact) is not supported by a lip brush or a spatula for its application (it would be great!).
The balm contains shea butter, almond oil and Argan oil that were all designed to care for the lips. The balm is very easy to apply; it really feels more like a butter. The balm is not sticky, perfectly moisturizes lips and its color is simply delightful.
The only drawback as I already mentioned is the lack of a brush or spatula for its application, although you can buy a brush or just use one from an empty lip gloss you already have.
Бальзам содержит масло ши, аграновое и миндальное масла, которые призваны ухаживать за губами. Бальзам очень легко наноситься, по ощущениям это действительно больше похоже на масло. Бальзам не липкий, великолепно увлажняет губы и цвет у него просто восхитительный.
Единственный недостаток – отсутствие кисточки или лопаточки для его нанесения, хотя кисточку можно купить или использовать любую из-под уже исрасходованных блесков для губ.

Rituals is a great brand =) About that top coat with glitter. I don’t really like how these hearts stick out *_* You can literally cut your face while touching :D
You barely can see it on the photo but I have a top coat so all “my hearts” are covered very well and can’t really cut anyone ;)
