This Ralph Lauren knit dress can be definitely be given my wardrobe’s “Longevity Award!” I bought this dress over 6 years ago. But each time I do a seasonal wardrobe cleaning and put it into the “get rid of/donate” pile, I change my mind and return it to a hanger. And it’s all because it’s a color that I adore – sage.
I think this is an incredibly beautiful shade especially for passing the winter season. It’s not gray, it’s not blue, it’s not even green, but at the same time, it’s all these hues combined in a beautiful, blurred, whitewashed tone. And that gorgeous mix of colors becomes a bright, clean and cool shade – just like the air of a frosty February morning, veiled in mist.

Но каждый раз, устраивая сезонную чистку моего гардероба и откладывая его в стопку “Избавиться”, я передумываю и возвращаю его на вешалку. А виной тому вот этот цвет, который мне безумно нравится – шалфей (sage).
Мне кажется, это невероятно красивый оттенок особенно для уходящего зимнего сезона. Это и не серый, и не голубой, и не зеленый, но, в то же время, все эти цвета вместе. Но они размыты, как будто выбелены. И получился такой светлый, чистый и прохладный цвета. Как воздух морозного февральского утра, подернутый туманом.
