Today, I finally got to walk in my new Zara leather sneakers, woo-hoo! You’ve already seen them, but not on me ;)
Usually, I put on all the new things I buy right away; but with these sneakers, it turned out quite the opposite – for some reason, I felt sorry for them and just couldn’t wear them…can you imagine?! And I really don’t know why – the weather was pretty dry, and I wasn’t too cold; but I just could not pull them out of the box to put on and go somewhere… And then, finally, I decided to go for it; and it wasn’t for some special occasion, it was just because…
Often in life we keep our things carefully, reserving them for some special day, but that day never comes… or it comes, but we think it’s still not special enough for us to look special… So we live our days and lives in anticipation of the future without feeling the present moment… But it’s always here around us. It’s the most important thing going on right now. So, do you still think it’s worth waiting?…
Сегодня я наконец выгуливаю мои новые сникерсы, вуу-хуу! Вы их уже видели, но только не на мне ;)
Обычно все новые вещи я надеваю сразу, а вот с этими сникерсами получилось совсем наоборот – мне их было жалко носить, представляете :) И вроде бы погода стояла сухая, и не так уж и холодно было, а вот никак не могла их вынуть из коробки, надеть и пойти куда-то… И вот, наконец, решилась и не по какому-то особенному случаю, а просто так.
Так и в жизни часто бывает – хранишь бережно вещи, приберегая их на какой-то особенный день, а этот день так и не наступает… или наступает, но нам он все же кажется не таким уж и особенным, чтобы по-особенному выглядеть… Так и проживаем дни в ожидании будущего, совсем не ощущая настоящее… А оно вот вокруг нас. Все самое главное происходит прямо сейчас. Так и стоит ли ждать?…
