This is my first introduction to the brand Jane Iredale, although its products are represented in major department stores in the US. This brand manufactures all kinds of cosmetic tools and makeup – from brushes and lipsticks to shadows and mascara. I got a micro lipstick in my box :)
The lipstick itself is quite nice, soft in application; it also softens my lips like a balm. After applying, I felt a light mint chill on my lips. The color is quite puzzling – it seems to be natural, but at the same time it looks boring – it wasn’t very different from my lip balm :(
Speaking about acquaintance with this brand, I’d rather get something more memorable, for example, a palette of Corrective Colors, which look very cute and, according to the manufacturer’s promise, even camouflage dark spots on the face. That would be nice for summer!

Помада сама по себе довольно приятная, мягкая в нанесении, смягчает губы, похожа на бальзам. Оставляет легкий ментоловый холодок на губах. Цвет довольно спорный – он как бы натуральный, но в то же время какой-то скучный :(
Если уж говорить o знакомстве с этой маркой, то я бы предпочла получить что-нибудь более запоминающееся, например, палетку корректирующих цветов Corrective Colors, которые выглядят очень мило и, согласно обещанию производителя, даже маскируют пигментные пятна на лице. Вот это было бы дело!
Are you serious? A tiny sample of Daisy Dream? It’s not even a novelty – the fragrance was released last summer and is already very familiar to all… In addition, this sample is already available in almost any store such as Ulta, Sephora, Macy’s Dillard’s, Neiman Marcus, and many others. Come on, guys! You can be more creative!
Anyway… About three years ago I was in love with the fragrance Daisy Eau So Fresh, but somehow I tired of it very quickly. But this fragrance Daisy Dream is different. It’s not so sweet and, in my opinion, it’s more interesting – very light with hints of blackberry. The smell is very unstable though – an hour later it has almost no aroma, but perhaps this particular fact means you won’t get tired of it :)

Tonka Noir Candle, Illume
The next product from my April box is a candle in an aluminum can. The smell is very common, sweet, cloying, and woody. It’s even hard to call this smell enjoyable – for me it is more like suffocating. (I love fresh, fruit scents.) I think it’s because this one has too much vanilla in it. In general, nothing extraordinary … Or maybe, I’m just too picky today? ;)
Следующий продукт из коробочки – свеча в алюминевой баночке. Запах самый обычный, сладкий, даже приторный, древесный. Назвать его приятным я могу с большой натяжкой – для меня он скорее удушающий, поскольку я люблю свежие фруктовые запахи. В этом же аромате слишком много ванили. В общем ничего сверхъестественного… Или я уже придираюсь?.. ;)
Body Lotion, Mt.Sapola
I’ve never heard of this brand, which apparently has existed for more than 35 years; and judging by its presence in shops in all parts of the world, from Singapore to Austria, Italy and the United States, things are going very well for these guys. By the way, in the US the company has only one store which is in New York City.
So I received the body lotion. It is very nice, light and delicate; it is absorbed instantly; it softens the skin nicely. This lotion, in fact, is designed to care for dehydrated skin – it’s just perfect for me! The smell is pretty intense as are many products which contain essential oils. But I kind of liked this scent – lavender, chamomile, and it seemed to me, bergamot – but I could be wrong.
The funniest thing is that on their website I did not find this product, and the whole “Shop Online” section is “under construction”… Really? Just tell me, why would you send product samples countrywide, if those products can’t be purchased anywhere else except one store in New York?

Сам лосьон очень приятный, легкий и нежный, впитывается мгновенно, хорошо смягчает кожу. Этот лосьон, собственно, и предназначен для ухода за обезвоженной кожей. Запах у него довольно интенсивный как у многих продуктов, в состав которых входят эфирные масла. Мне запах понравился – лаванда, ромашка и, как мне показалось, бергамот, но я могу ошибаться.
Самой смешное, что на сайте компании этот продукт я не нашла, а раздел “Shop Online” у них находится на реконструкции – не понятно, зачем высылать образцы продукции, если их нигде нельзя добыть.
Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil, Bumble and Bumble
Everyone who reads my blog regularly already knows my attitude to oil-based hair products – I do not like them, and I do not use them, because the oil makes my hair look like dirty straw :(
But in spite of my attitude, this product has already collected a huge amount of positive reviews and was even voted “The Best of Beauty” by Allure editors in 2014. This “invisible oil” is intended for all types of dry hair; I would have added another note “for curly hair”. The oil smells nice and unobtrusive.
But my straight fine hair with oily roots and dry tips didn’t handle this oil very well. The “invisible oil” wasn’t really noticeable – only my straw-looking, sadly hanging hair was visible :) It looked awful – as if I had not washed my hair for a couple of days. It’s definitely not my product…
This is perhaps the only product from my April Allure Beauty Box, that will be used in my beauty routine. The transparent pore reducing primer with matte effect and vitamin E is a great tool that is always useful. Its cream consistency is similar to sour cream; it has a light beige shade and dissolves instantly on the skin, giving it a silky finish. Great product!
I put it in my makeup bag!

I’ve never tried that beauty subscription service before, but I love the magazine! I am so sorry that you didn’t like it at all! I recently subscribed to Birchbox and loved most of the products. Have you tried Birchbox before?
In terms of beauty products, I tried and loved The PoreFessional by Benefit Cosmetics. It makes miracles for my skin! I also tried Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs. Yes, it is not new, but I like it anyways!

Oh, yeah, I’d tried Birchbox for two years but I was disappointed with the products that they sent to me – some of them were just old and completely dry (few mascaras and lipsticks) … It happened to me in 2013 and I unsubscribed. I know they made a lot of changes recently so I’m thinking of subscribing again – I should give these guys a second chance :)
