An amazing gentle blue color with a delicate pink tinge starts off the Colors of the Year for 2016. The color of clouds touched a little by the setting sun – this color of peace and tranquility was chosen as a color of the leap year. In Russian culture, the leap year is a least favorite one.
People connect this year with large-scale disasters and upheavals like the sinking of the Titanic, which happened just a few leaps ago in 1912 … However, there are really no statistics confirming the existence of a direct link between the 29th day of February every four years and a surge in disasters in general.
But personally, I’d like to know that this leap year will be painted in the color of peace and serenity. I believe that almost everything depends on our inner spirit! So, let’s be calm and confident in comfortable jeans and a fluttering silk scarf – moving to meet this year with all its surprises and unexpected, or even astonishing, events! :)
Но лично мне как-то приятнее ощущать, что этот високосный год будет окрашен цветом покоя и безмятежности. А от нашего внутреннего настроя зависит так много, если не все! Так что спокойно и уверенно в удобных джинсах и развевающимся шелковом шарфе двигаемся на встречу этому году с его сюрпризами и неожиданностями! :)
