I don’t know about you, but I’m never squeamish about clearance sales events – even in stores with very moderate prices. Of course, you need to have considerable patience to find something really worthwhile, interesting and inspiring in the endless racks of “sale-clearance-final-sales” items. For example, I found this emerald skirt hanging sad and lonely in the corner under an XXS sign – well, how could I pass it up?! :)
By the way, it’s a great delusion to think that things go on clearance only because they’re “no longer fashionable.” On the contrary, I often find there are things that serve me well for more than a year! And with a skillful approach in each new season, you will find that, in conjunction with various novelties, these “clearance” and “not fashionable” things sometimes look even better than most super trendy stuff.
