In my previous post I walked around wearing red lipstick, and as a result, I received a lot of compliments. Why I have ignored that clear and beautiful color for so long I still can’t understand. Although, of course, I can… The wave of popular “nude” shades for lips didn’t pass me by… It’s amazing how, in the pursuit of fashion trends, we forget about long time proven methods, tricks and rules of makeup… Аnd yet the mantra “red suits blondes” has been sitting inside me since my childhood :)
This red lip crayon I received with the February Ipsy beauty bag and initially set it aside, just because of its “calling” color. And then I decided to try it out with my black and white look to spice up that monochromatic palette. And I fell in love! This unreal, vibrant color gives so much strength and inner delight!
Now you can find a huge number of similar shades in makeup stores. I know it’s not the easiest task to choose the right red shade when you are a fair-skinned blonde, but it’s easier than you think. If you cannot decide on the color when choosing a lipstick online, I advise you to focus on the name of the color. Of course, not always, but sometimes it helps. Especially if you are going to buy on the site of large well-known companies, for example, Sephora.
Choose colors, the names of which include the word Poppy Red (poppy red) or Coral Red (coral red). I advise you to avoid shades like True Red if you have very light skin (like me) – these shades look quite dark and hard, especially if more eye makeup is present.
So, the “nude” lip is still certainly a good idea; but every blonde should have at least one red lipstick in her cosmetic bag! :)
Этот карандаш я получила с очередной посылочкой от Ipsy и поначалу отложила его в сторону, как раз из-за его “вызывающего” цвета. А потом все-таки решила попробовать его с черно-белым луком, чтобы придать образу немного перчинки. Попробовала и влюбилась! Нереальный вибрирующий цвет, придающий сил и вызывающий какой-то внутренний восторг!
Сейчас можно найти огромное количество похожих оттенков в магазинах косметики. Если не можете определиться с цветом, выбирая помаду online, то я советую ориентироваться по названиям оттенков. Конечно, не всегда, но это помогает. Особенно, в случае, если вы собираетесь покупать на сайте крупной известной компании, например, Sephora.
Выбирайте оттенки, в названиях которых есть слова Poppy Red (маковый красный) или Coral Red (коралловый красный). Я советую избегать оттенков True Red, если у вас очень светлая кожа (как у меня) – такие оттенки довольно темные и выглядят тяжеловато, особенно, если еще и макияж глаз присутствует.
Так что “нюдные” губы – это, конечно, хорошо и натурально, но красная помада это то, что должно быть у каждой блондинки! :)
