Flared jeans easily descend from the catwalks of Paris, Milan, New York and London and casually walk on city streets in the spring – sometimes causing a delighted reaction, and sometimes causing a puzzling reaction. The influence of the ’70s in this trend is so strong that, when sprucing up your wardrobe with these jeans, it’s very easy to slip into “naphthalene vintage”, instead of tapping into fresh, modern trends.
I am the happy owner of several pairs of flared jeans, and I love them! But even for me the selection of pieces to wear with these jeans is a daunting task – which makes it quite an interesting challenge! I love that flared jeans are back. I am hoping to style some with flowy boho tops myself, so I think look #4 is my favorite. However, there is something for everyone here proving that EVERYONE can rock this trend.
